Al Coffrin

Allen ""Big Al"" Coffrin, 71, of Aurora passed away Monday, March 30, 2009. He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Marie Coffrin; two sons, Bill Coffrin(Ruth Ann)and Chuck Coffrin; three grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew and Analisa Coffrin; sister, Myrna M. Kaus. Al graduated from Loveland H.S., served his country in the Coast Guard for three and a half years on iceberg patrol and worked for the State Highway Patrol and Department of Transportation for fifteen years each, with a total of thirty years of service to the State of Colorado. He loved bowling, fishing, the ocean and most of all his family. He was a member of the Eagles, El Jabel Shrine and the El Jabel Pipe Band. A memorial service will be held 2PM, Sunday, April 5, 2009 at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Rd. (at Parker Rd.) Flowers may be sent to the funeral home and memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1280 S. Parker Rd., Denver, CO 80231.
