Alan A. Capra

Alan Anthony Capra was born in Denver on July 13, 1941 to Frances and Carl Capra. He attended South High and is still friends with many of his classmates to this day. He attended University of Colorado and earned a degree in electrical engineering in 1964. Later, he earned a master's degree in electrical engineering from University of Denver.

He was married to Linda Wise and had two children: Jenny and Jimmy. Linda and Al later divorced. He later married Sonja L. Melette with whom he spent the remainder of his days until her death on May 30, 2019. He was an avid skier and participated as a patrolman for 50 years with National Ski Patrol at both Breckenridge Ski Area and Loveland Ski Area.

He is survived by two siblings: Carla Carter and Gary Capra. He also has four grandchildren.

He was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
