Alan B. Gorham

Alan B. Gorham age 78, passed away Saturday, October 13^th, 2018 in his home in Arvada, Colorado. He was born on July 15^th, 1940 in Westport, Connecticut to Burton and Shirley (Ackerly) Gorham. Alan served in the United States Army. He married Kathy Capra on November 30^th, 1979 in Denver, Colorado.

Alan retired as the Regional Sales Manager from Mountain State Ford in 2006 after a long career in Auto Sales/Management. Alan continually voiced that his most proud accomplishment was being a father to his two kids Nikki and Neil. His hobbies included traveling (he took his grand kids to Disney World 7 times), cars, baseball (avid Colorado Rockies fan), food and most importantly his grand kids (Allie, Cody and Logan). You would normally find Alan either traveling the world with his wife Kathy (Italy, Turkey, Greece, Hawaii, Egypt, Panama Canal), spending time at his daughter Nikki's house indulging in her gourmet meals, finding the best local eateries with his son Neil, or spending time with his grandkids at the museum or the zoo.

Alan is survived by his wife, Kathy; his two kids, Nikki Leeper (Jack), and Neil Pfeifer; his three grandchildren, Allie Martens (Nate), Cody Leeper, Logan Leeper; his sister, Carolyn Cardillo (Pat); his brother, David w. Gorham; his sister, Deborah D. Sanford (Jeff); and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his dad, Burton Gorham; his mom, Shirley Gorham; and his brother, Peter Gorham.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 20^th at the Depot at the Village of Five Parks, 13810 West 85^th Drive, Arvada, Colorado 80005 from 3 P.M. - 7 P.M.
