Alan J. Harris

Alan J. Harris passed away peacefully in the early morning of May 10, 2020. He was born in Rolfe, Iowa September 20, 1931.

He is survived by siblings, nephews and nieces in Iowa. He lived in Arvada, Colorado near his two step children, three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren

Alan grew up on a farm in Iowa. He joined United States Army and served in the Korean War. Afterwards he worked at Lockheed Martin and then started a janitorial business in the Denver area. He enjoyed talking about farming and watching the neighbors corn grow. He was Colorado Rockies fan and love to watch small aircraft fly overhead.

His gentle nature and wonderful smile will be deeply missed.

Due to Covid19, a celebration of life and a ceremony at Fort Logan Cemetery will be determined later.
