Alan F. Nies, 86, of Denver, passed away November 5, 2010. Beloved husband of Colleen for 65 years; devoted father of Tracy (Debbie), Trent (Sharon), and Julie Kinney; proud grandfather of Kaitlin Kinney; loving brother of Howard (Carol); and uncle of Margaret (Anton) Kerkhove and Richard (Jenna). Funeral Service Thursday, November 11, 2 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 S Colorado Blvd, Denver. Private burial at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Parkinson Assn of the Rockies, 1325 S Colorado Blvd, Ste 204, Denver, CO 80222.
