Alan Odnert

Alan passed away peacefully on September 17, 2013. Born on January 30, 1932 in London, England, he was an avid skier and tennis player. He brought joy to all who knew him. Preceded in death by his parents and son, Eric, Alan is survived by his beloved wife, Marci, sons Daryl (Jennifer) and Adam, grandchildren; Jeff, Sean and Michelle, sister Daphne, former wife Sheila and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins in both the UK and USA. Alan taught French and Spanish in public schools in Michigan and California and at the Colorado Rocky Mountain School in Carbondale, CO and the Orme School in Mayer, AZ. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Mile Hi Church, 9077 West Alameda Avenue, Lakewood, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Mile Hi Church Prayer and Care Center, Collier Hospice, The Denver Dumb Friends League and/or Ski DUCK (Ski and Snowboarding for Disadvantaged and Underpriviledged Children and Old Kids.
