Albert A. Freeman

August 19, 1931 — January 27, 2014

He is survived by: Karen Freeman, Wife Lichele Werner, Daughter Mike Keasling, Stepson Kelly Schoonmaker, Stepdaughter Albert Freeman was born in Osceola, MO. He spent his early years growing up in the small farming community along with three brothers and one sister. When Al was ten years old his family moved to Colorado. As a young man he started working for King Soopers as a butcher, he left 20 years later as a store manager. Later in life Al became a successful self-made businessman in Real Estate. Al owned and operated a home for the elderly in downtown Denver for 30 years. He later transformed the elderly home to a boarding residence. In his spare time Al loved to watch boxing on TV. Above all else, he was a devoted family man. He is survived by his wife Karen Freeman, Daughter Lichele Werner, Stepson Mike Keasling (Nanette), Stepdaughter Kelly Schoonmaker (Kirk) and four grandchildren Jakob Keasling, Matthew Schoonmaker, Evan Keasling and Gabi Schoonmaker. A Celebration of life will be held on Monday February 3, 2014 at 2:00 at Horan & McConaty 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd in Lakewood Memorial Contributions in Al's honor will be accepted at the Collier Hospice Center 3210 Lutheran Parkway, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 The family of Albert Freeman wishes to thank all family and friends for their love and support.
