Albert Orsamus Kidney Born in Worth County, Missouri on Oct. 14, 1922 Departed on May 22, 2018 and resided in Denver, CO Funeral Service: Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 2:00 Horan & McConaty 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd Lakewood, CO 80227 Reception to immediately follow Albert Kidney, 95, preceded in death by his beloved wife Georgee Kidney, father of Leroy Kidney (Kay) and Jerry Kidney (Vicki), passed away on May 22, 2018. He was greatly loved by his grandchildren Kevin (Stephanie) and Eric Kidney (Vikki), Jeri Lynn Thrailkill (Scott), and Jennifer Lovejoy (Brian), Dave Gilliland (Kristi) and Julie Gilliland. Family was the most important thing in his life, and he had a special relationship with his great grandchildren: Brandon and Lauren Kidney, Madison, Niko, and Alyssa Garduno, Audrey and Olivia Hornsby, and Nora and Wyatt Gilliland. He is also survived by one brother, Tony Kidney (Lila), and numerous nieces and nephews. Albert was born in Worth County, Missouri on October 14, 1922 to Leroy and Vesta Kidney. He and Georgee were married on October 27, 1941. They moved to Denver shortly after they were married. Albert was a decorated army veteran of World War II. Georgee worked and retired from Samsonite Corp. Albert worked and retired from Gates Rubber Co. There is a tremendous sadness in the whole family, and “Grandpa” will be greatly missed, as he was so adored and loved by all.
