Albert J. Neal

Al Neal, of Arvada Colorado died peacefully on Friday, May 25th, 2012. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Fran. The two were devoted to each other for almost 39 years. He was the caring father of Cyndi Kumor (Michael) of Bergenfield, NJ, Greg (Melinda) of Fort Collins, and Phil (Kelly) and Tracy (Malinda), both of Broomfield. He was also a loving ""Papa"" to grandchildren Emarie, Megan, Delaney, Karley, Alyson, Rylee, Rachel, Macy, Taylor and Ryan, and great-grandfather to Sydney. He is survived by siblings Sue Mack, Don, Jo Sauer and Alice Hodges and several nieces and nephews. Al was born August 1, 1936, in Fort Morgan, CO to Florence and Glenn Neal. He married Frances Gray on May 22, 1960. In October of 1964 he was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He made his living as a truck driver- driving for various companies over the years. He retired from King Soopers in 2000. A man with a keen sense of humor, he enjoyed spending time with family, country dancing, and trying to make everyone's day special. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 4-8 PM, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton. Graveside Service will be Friday, June 1, 2012 at 10:30 AM, Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 West 29th Avenue, Denver. Celebration of Life will follow at 12:00 PM, Trinity Presbyterian Church, 7755 Vance Street, Arvada.
