Alberta M. Edmundson

Alberta was born October 20, 1924 in Lafountain, KS. She spent her early years in Independence, KS, graduating from Independence High School and Pittsburgh State Teacher's College. Alberta taught second grade in Caney, KS where she met and married Roy B. Edmundson on December 5, 1947. In 1955 the family moved to Denver for Roy's work. Alberta was a charter member of Christ Community Church and was active in the Reformed Church of America. Alberta is survived by her son Steven (Elaine), grandchildren Matt and Brandy, 6 great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Roy, son David, and sister Lucille. Memorial Service: Thursday, June 15, 1pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave., Aurora.
