Alberta Jean Schnegelberger Sant Alberta is survived by her husband Stanton Perry Sant, her children, Douglas & Karen Snider, Diane Perez, Barbara & Ralph Skeens, Donald and Lisa Sant, 9 Grandchildren, and 8 Great-Grandchildren, her brothers Elias Edward Schnegelberger and Alfred Floyd Schnegelberger and many nieces and nephews. Alberta retired from US West after 30 years of service. During her retirement years she enjoyed baking, cooking and traveling. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who never missed an opportunity to host holidays and family celebrations. She was a master of combining flavors and love in the food she prepared for her favorite part of life, her family. Alberta and Perry traveled the world with adventures in South America, the Caribbean, Alaska, Europe, India, Taiwan, China, Greece, Egypt, Israel, Turkey, Italy and more. These experiences intensified her zest for life and precipitated her humor. Alberta valued family, integrity, work ethic, education, and sought to make each successive generation better than the prior. She is loved and will be missed. A memorial service for Alberta Sant will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, 2pm, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado, 80227, reception to follow.
