Alene Fay Pool

Alene Pool passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019, in Littleton, Colorado. She was born in Earlsboro, Oklahoma on May 11, 1928. She moved to Wichita, Kansas with her parents, Velma and William Wist, and siblings. She met Wayne Pool there. They were married on June 26,1948.

Alene and Wayne and their sons moved to Englewood Colorado in the early 1960s.

Alene is preceded in death by her husband Wayne, who passed away just 6 short weeks ago, her two sons, Mike and Ron and brother Richard.

She is survived by her grandchildren: Mike (Ashley) Pool, Mandy (Nate) Barbour, Lindsey (Jaime) Sieck, Ryan (Amy) Pool, Steve (Ashley) Pool and Krista (Nick) Baker. Alene is also survived by her 13 great- grandchildren: Ben, Jake and Annie Barbour; Brody, Eli and Lily Sieck; Maverick, Marshall, Mason and Addie Pool and Lainey; Cody and Wesley Pool, her sisters: Marcie Garton and Margaret Wade of Wichita and numerous nieces and nephews.

Alene’s Service will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2019, 3:30pm, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 E. County Line Road, Centennial with committal to immediately follow in the Cremation Gardens.
