Al, as he was known, graduated from Manual High School in 1960. Later in life, he served for many years as the school's Historian. He attended the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he studied chemistry. During a long and successful career, he enjoyed employment with several companies in the pipeline and natural gas industries, serving much of the Rocky Mountain West.
Al's many interests and activities included snow skiing, biking, physical fitness, and artwork. He spent hours involved with the history and genealogy of his direct and associated family lines. As Manual's historian, he contributed much to the book: ""Denver's Manual High School, Bricklayers to Thunderbolts"" by Jim McNally, and other Friends of Manual activities.
Al was known by many as a kind-hearted person, willing to help wherever and whenever needed.
