Alfreda "Freda" Boardman

February 24, 1923 — December 2, 2020

Highlands Ranch, Colorado

With sadness, we are announcing the passing of Alfreda (Freda) Jeanette Boardman.  Freda died peacefully at the age of 97 and went home to be with her Heavenly Father on December 2, 2020.  Freda  was born on February 24, 1923 in Charleston Missouri to parents Killman Griffin and Dollie Baker.  Freda had 6 siblings named Robert (Bob), Billy (Bill), Anna Louise (Louise), Edwin (Buddy), Elizabeth Pauline (Pat) and Marie Lucille (Sue).

On April 26, 1943 Freda married Herman Boardman.  They had two children Gary Conrad Boardman and Paula Jan Boardman. She also had two grand children Troy and Tiffany Boardman and four great grandchildren Cody, Taylor, Tylin and Makrai.

Although born in Missouri, Freda lived the majority of her adult life in the Denver area.  She did however spend a few years with her daughter Paula in Texas and North Carolina.

Freda had many friends while working for Vanda Beauty and was also the first Tupperware consultant in the Denver area.  She loved people and had many, many friends all over.  She loved dogs of all kinds, chocolate and hugs!  She also loved winning quarters in Bingo.  You could always find her with a new joke book in her possession or playing a game.  If you knew Freda you know she liked to laugh and smile!!

The last seven years of her life she was able to live with her grand daughter Tiffany DeNeui and her husband Jeff and her four great grandchildren. The last year of her life she was well loved at Someren Glen Christian Living communities where she passed peacefully.

Freda was a very loving, caring and thoughtful person.  She believed that she was known and loved by God and felt at peace to go and be with her Heavenly Father.  She will be missed dearly! She was truly an angel sent from Heaven.

A private celebration of Fredas life will be held with her family.
