Alice S. (Heimerman) Mennenga passed away on December 3, 2017 in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. She was born on January 11, 1938 in Colwich, Kansas, the daughter of Margaret (Stump) and Aloysius Heimerman. She grew up on a wheat farm in Akron, Colorado. In 1961, she married Merle Don Mennenga. They had three daughters, Jody, Tracey and Denise. They lived in Denver, Colorado until 1968 when they moved to Parker, Colorado where they built their dream home in Ponderosa Hills. In 1996, they retired and moved to Oshkosh, Nebraska to enjoy ranch life and finally settled in sunny Mesquite, Nevada. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Merle and daughter, Denise Woodrum. She is survived by daughters, Jody Cox and husband Tim, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; Tracey Ireland and husband Jim, of Mission Viejo, California; son-in- law Jon Woodrum, of Harrison, Nebraska; and nine beloved grandchildren, Conor and Nolan Cox, Jack, Sam and Katie Ireland and Meggan (Woodrum) Stewart, Katelyn, Kelli and Nathan Woodrum. Alice was one of eleven children and leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be on December 16, 2017 at 11:00 am at Horan & McConaty, 5303 E.
