Alice Mary Nash was born June 21, 1921 in Coffeyville, KS. She passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, October 11th. She was the oldest child of Clyde Sherman Nash and Frances ""Frankie"" Andrews. She was a graduate of Holy Name Grade School, Field Kindley High School and Coffeyville Junior College. She moved to Denver in 1948 and graduated from University of Denver. She worked as a secretary and clerk for R.L. Manning Oil Company. She won many awards in her life. On May 13, 1989, she won the Archbishop Annual Service Award from J. Francis Stafford. In February 1999, she won the Minoru Yasui Community Volunteer Award for outstanding volunteer committment and service. May 31, 2009 there was a reception at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception honoring Alice for over 45 years of volunteer service. She is survived by her sister Frances Welsh. Preceded in death by parents, sister and two brothers.
