Aline ""Robin"" Feiten passed away September 26th at Poppy's Place, the assisted care facility she shared with her lifetime love, husband Robert Feiten. She was eighty-four years old. Nine of her family members were there with her as she died, all giving thanks that her struggle was over. Robin and Bob, both from Minnesota, met in Summer Theatre. Beautiful, smart, and sophisticated, Robin loved French culture. She traveled there frequently and incorporated this passion into her daily life. All of her six children (Lou, Joe, Dan, Dave, Melanie Potock, and Julie) have contributed to society in brilliant and creative ways. Daughters-in law Janine (Schiavoni), Bernadette (DiTirro), and Julie (Jaster), and son-in-law Bob Potock have been supportive and loving spouses. Robin is also survived by her nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A private Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Most Precious Blood Parish on Thursday, October 3rd. Pastor and friend Father Patrick Dolan provided his usual warmth and insight, and musicians Teresa Stone and Tony Haas led members of the wonderful MPB choir, joined by a group of musicians who have lifelong ties to the Feiten family. Contributions in Robin's name to the Colorado Alzheimer's Association (455 Sherman St #500 Denver, CO 80203) or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) at 8055 E. Tufts Ave., Suite 770, Denver, CO, 80237 would be gratefully received. Please share your memories of Robin and condolences with her family by signing the guestbook below.
