Allen Louis Zink

Allen Louis Zink was born November 12 of 1967 in Berlin, Wisconsin.

He died in Denver, Colorado on January 14, 2025.

Family survivors include his father, Louis Zink of Berlin and sister Nancy Zink of Portland, Oregon. He is preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Zink, who died in 2020.

He attended Ripon College and graduated with a degree in Art and German in 1990. 

A couple years later he moved to Colorado and worked as a skilled carpenter. His work in several new houses around the Aspen and Vail area showed beautiful skill and artistic abilities. 

He enjoyed many outdoor activities until his tragic accident that left him as a quadriplegic. He had great love for hunting, fishing, hiking, backcountry skiing and mountain biking.

Despite his physical limitations, his brain was very active and he formed many lasting friendships in Colorado and Wisconsin.

Many of his caregivers remarked how he was inspirational in all that he did despite his physical limitations.

A memorial service is planned in Denver, Colorado on Saturday March 29 at 12:00 at the Malley Recreation Center.
