Althea Erbert

October 6, 1931 — December 19, 2020

Althea Marie Erbert peacefully passed away on December 19, 2020, in Lakewood, Colorado.

Althea was born and raised in Wilton Junction, Iowa. After graduating high school, Althea joined the Navy. There she met and married Bob Erbert, who preceded her in death. After their time in the Navy, they raised their family in Colorado.

Her children remember her as a warm, loving and fun mother. She was a Bronco fan, attending home games as well as out of town games with Ports of Call. She liked to gamble, traveling to Las Vegas and later to Central City and Blackhawk. She loved her pets, especially her little terrier, “Spook”, found abandoned on a rainy Halloween night. She enjoyed visits from friends and family’s pets while in assisted living.

Althea is survived by her four children, Pattie Bolte (Dennis), Terri Cummings (Del), Russ and Tommy, nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She will rest next to her loving husband, Bob, at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.

Due to the pandemic no services are planned. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
