Alvin Charles Wynn, 60 of Buffalo NY, passed away February 10, 2017. Alvin was born to Juanita and Hillard Wynn October 18, 1956. Alvin is survived by daughter Lyndsay Wynn; mother Juanita Wynn; brother Gerald Wynn; sister Adrienne Smith, and dog Xander. Alvin is preceded in death by brother Terrance Anthony Wynn. As a proud graduate of the University of Missouri, double majoring in Communications and business, Alvin pursued his career in Denver. Alvin lived in the Denver area over 30 years, where he worked as an Account/Solutions Manager for Xerox Corporation for 31 years. During this time Alvin achieved 9 President's Clubs awards, 8 PAR club Awards and 1 Star Award. Alvin was an active member of the fraternity Alpha Phi Alpha in Kansas City, MO and Denver, CO chapters. Alvin was also very active in the community mentoring disadvantaged youth and working in support of battered women. Alvin was a very loving and proud father of his daughter Lyndsay Wynn. Alvin was also a sports fan, Buffalo Bills, NY Yankees and Buffalo Sabers were teams that he would always root for and he was never ashamed to represent them. Alvin enjoyed writing poetry in his spare time, and truly believed in leaving the world better than he found it. Services for Alvin will be held at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home (5303 E County Line Rd, Centennial, CO 80122). Public visitation Friday March 3, 2017 3PM-7PM.
