Alyssa Marie Anderson

In loving memory of my baby girl, Alyssa Marie Anderson, of Commerce City, who was just 15, crushed all our hearts when she passed away on August 30, 2017. That's the day heaven gained a new angel. Alyssa was a native to Colorado and her personality reflected so. She was currently attending Lester Arnold High School. Alyssa had a passion for art, music, and loved drama. Alyssa loved spending time with her little sister, Lacey and chilling with her kitties, Duke and Whiner. She also loved being around family which included family get togethers and holidays. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her and she will be missed beyond comprehension. She is survived by her father and step mother, Tim (Shannon) Anderson; mother and step father, Marlo (Trevor Mellegard) Anderson; brothers, Colby Anderson, Nicholas Hudson, Dylan Anderson, and Ben Morris-Nelan; sisters, Ashley Morris, Grace Morris, Opal Morris, and Lacey Garner; and many extended family. She was preceded in death by Grant Knight, beloved grandfather. Your memories will be forever cherished!! We all love you Lyssa!! Funeral Services honoring Alyssa will be Saturday, September 9, 2017, beginning at 9:00 AM, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, in Arvada, Colorado 80003. Interment follows at Arvada Cemetery, 5581 Independence Street, in Arvada, Colorado 80002.
