Amanda ""Mandy"" Aileen Chavez

Age 29, unexpectedly entered eternal life on January 9, 2007. She was born on November 5, 1977 in El Paso, Texas and was a 1995 graduate of Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas, Texas. Mandy enjoyed art, poetry, music, sports and anything to do with fashion-she had a style all her own. She showed boundless compassion for others in need and was truly a best friend to many. Her friends and family already miss her infectious laughter, sparkling eyes, and her beautiful smile. Her mother and father take great comfort in knowing she is with her grandfather, Henry, walking through the breathtaking gardens of heaven watching all of the butterflies that she so dearly loved. Mandy is survived by her parents Tony and Karen Chavez of Castle Rock, Colorado; grandparents Ricardo and Inez Chavez of El Paso, Texas; grandmother Elizabeth Blodis of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, California and Pennsylvania. A Rosary will be held on Monday, January 15 at 7:00 PM with the Funeral Mass being held on Tuesday, January 16, at 11:00 AM both in the chapel of Pax Christi Catholic Church, 5761 McArthur Ranch Road in Littleton, Colorado.
