Amelia Wilkins

Amelia Wilkins was born Amelia Mae Beck on 10/17/1932 in Denver, Colorado to Arthur & Nellie Beck. Amelia passed peacefully at the age of 90 on 10/3/2023.

Amelia loved her family deeply, and was kind and generous to everyone she met. She had a zest for life, loved traveling, reading, theater, and trying new things. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Amelia took great pride in her environment and appearance, she had a knack for decorating, design, and fashion. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed hosting many dinners and parties. In recent years she spent a lot of time with her friends at Heather Gardens hosting card and dice games.

Amelia is survived by her children Sandra Schumacher, Keith Schumacher, Kim Schumacher, and Cheryl Myler, as well as her grandchildren Keeley, Ryan, Kristen, and Candace.  She has several great grandchildren, including Amelia.

Amelia‘s children will be hosting a celebration of her life with a date, time, and location to be announced later. In lieu of flowers, Amelia requested donations sent to St. Jude’s Hospital or the Denver Dumb Friends League.
