Amelia Wells Sutton

Amelia Wells Sutton, 84 years of age, of Lakewood, Colorado, passed away on December 7, 2012. Amelia is survived by her daughters Jane Sutton (Jerry Caslow), Jeri Coffey (Wayne Hoffman), Nancy Holzworth; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and brother Paul Wells. She is preceded in death by her husband Glen and nine brothers. Amelia was born in Daytown, Missouri in a 4-room company house. Her family moved to Mitchell, Mo when she was 8 years old and she lived there until she married. She was a homemaker, a label that does not capture her talents and skills, including upholstering furniture, making clothes out of feed sacks and satin, cooking for her family as well as for church activities, and maintaining a cozy and warm home. Services for Amelia in Missouri are as follows: Visitation from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, December 14, 2012 at Bryson Funeral Home, 312 Valle Street, Pilot Knob, Missouri. A Funeral Service will occur at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 15, 2012 also at Bryson Funeral Home followed by burial at Sutton Cemetery in Vulcan, Missouri. Services for Amelia in Colorado: A Memorial Service at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Bear Creek Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 3101 South Kipling Street, Lakewood, Colorado.
