Anderson Robinson

Anderson Robinson, Jr. was born August 30, 1930 to Carrie and Anderson Robinson, Sr. in Drew, Mississippi. He united with New Zion Baptist Church at the age of 15 and was baptized in Sunflower River by Rev. Gibson. He united in matrimony with Theonya, who would remain his wife for 60 years, and lived his life with her in Denver, Colorado. Anyone who saw the two of them together knew that he loved her dearly. During his career as a heavy equipment crane operator, he was a dedicated employee of Thompson Pipe and Steel Company for a period of 25 years. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Theonya; a sister, Delores Robinson; sister-in-law, Naquellia Anderson; brother-in-law, Elder George A. (Kathy) Miller; dear friends the Albertilla family; 4 nephews; and a host of cousins, and friends. The family of this extraordinary man wishes to thank the Zion Baptist Church family, Rev. Frank M. Davis, Mt. Sinai Sunday School Class, and the many friends he had for their thoughts, prayers and visits during his illness and passing. Funeral Service will be Friday, August 20, 2:00 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave., Aurora with viewing 1 hour before.
