Andrea Montoya-Wells

Andrea “Andi” Montoya-Wells was a caring mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly on October 7, 2022 in Chicago, IL.

She was born to Fidel “Butch” and Patsy Montoya Jr on May 10, 1972. After graduating from North High School, in Denver, CO Andrea chased her dreams of becoming a news anchor until she met the father of her children and brought Randall Wells (July 15, 1997) and Isabelle Wells (August 10, 2002) into the world where she spent the next 25 years loving and raising her children.

Andrea loved spending time on the trails and the treadmill her greatest accomplishment being the Imogene Pass Marathon. Andrea was always creating delicious desserts for her family, specifically her famous pumpkin cookies in the fall. She was a devoted mother who put her children’s success above all else. She filled her children with a sense of love, trust, and a friendship that she hoped they would one day pass on to their own children.

Andrea was a light to the world, she was a loving, caring, supportive, understanding, brilliant, and hilarious woman who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11 am on October 19, 2022 at the Healing Waters Church on 6475 West 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge, Colorado.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Go Fund Me created in her name.
