Andrew DeNuzzi

March 8, 1924 — July 11, 2018

Andrew was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. After finishing the eleventh grade, he joined the Navy, serving for seven years during World War II in the South Pacific. He later received his GED following his military service. Andrew’s military service gave way to his career at RCA Factory Service in appliance repair until he retired in 1986.

Andrew met Lurline DeNuzzi and they were married on October 13, 1951. Together they shared 53 years of marriage until Lurline’s passing in 2004.

In retirement and spare time, Andy enjoyed playing golf, traveling and reading. He also loved going to Black Hawk once a month on the bus with other members of the church.

Andy is preceded in death by his wife, Lurline, (passed at age 81); daughter, Linda McMullin (passed at age 58); and son, Glenn DeNuzzi (passed at age 54). He is survived by son, Mike (Lauri) DeNuzzi; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and more than ten great great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 12PM-7PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street in Thornton. A Funeral Mass will be held on the following day, Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 10:30AM at St. Mark Catholic Church, 3141 W. 96th Avenue in Westminster.
