Andrew Joseph Fujaros

Andrew "Andy" Joseph Fujaros, Jr., of Denver, Colorado, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024. He was born on June 18, 1946, to Andrew Joseph Fujaros, Sr., and Anna Margaret (Cirbo) in Pueblo, Colorado.

Andy grew up in Pueblo and graduated from Pueblo Catholic High School in 1964. He earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1969. Later, he attended night school at Metropolitan State University of Denver, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Information Technology in 1988. Andy worked for the State of Colorado in Information Technology from 1994 to 2008.

He is survived by his wife, Olga, and two children, Steven and David. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Fujaros, Sr. (1907–1980), and Anna (Cirbo) Fujaros (1913–1994), as well as his sister, Gladys (Fujaros) Mathews (1940–2018) of Tustin, CA.

Andy will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A funeral mass will be celebrated on October 8th at 9:30 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 2250 S Harrison St, Denver, CO 80210. A reception will follow the mass, and all are welcome to attend.

Following the reception, a graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery. The cemetery is located at 12801 W. 44th Avenue in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
