Anthony James Martinez

Anthony James Martinez passed September 23, 2023, at Denver Health Center due to complicated health issues.  

Anthony Martinez (Tony) was born July 19, 1965, to Sabina Martinez in Longmont, Colorado. At the age of 17 Tony suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury and again at the age of 18. Tony was able to overcome many obstacles, with the Love and care from family and friends. This includes the amazing staff over the years at KADEP that Tony was able to live an active and happy fulfilling life. Tony was known for telling jokes to family, friends and even strangers. He was always ready to go to Blackhawk/Central City or even just win on a scratch ticket.  

Tony is survived by his Brother, Mel Nevarez (Michelle); Sister, Dora (Manuel), and his twin sons James and Joshua Martinez. He left behind many friends and family who love him dearly.

Tony was proceeded in death by his Mother, Sabina Martinez and his Brother, David Martinez.
