Andy Kamlet

July 2, 1961 — July 26, 2018

Andy Kamlet, 57, of Centennial, CO.

While serving on a mission trip helping people in Puerto Rico to rebuild their lives, our Dad died suddenly, while taking a brief break from his work to attempt to scuba dive. He has been called to Heaven to be with our Mom, and the Lord and has been made new and is Home now. We, his daughters Jenna, Julia and Jacqueline are at peace knowing he was doing the work that he loved, and that he is no longer feeling the pain that we feel on Earth.

Since the death of our mother Kim (née Krantz) four years ago, he has been our rock of support. He loved Christ with all of his heart and he is now Home and reunited with our Mom. We will continue to lean on our faith and rest in the knowledge that even in our pain and brokenness, we are loved and held by a steadfast, mighty God who has a good and perfect plan for our lives.

Our Dad was born on July 2, 1961, the beloved son of Sam and Bette Kamlet of Denver. His three siblings, John, Barb and Lee are joined in their loss by his extended Kamlet and Krantz families, and his large network of close friends.

We are still wrapping our minds around the loss of our best friend and the extraordinary man who we love so deeply. Our Dad was one of the most Godly men we have ever met, and we looked up to him as we have been walking through our journey with Christ. Now our Dad's journey starts for sharing how amazing our Father in Heaven is, and helping make heaven more crowded just like he did with his time on earth. We know our mother was waiting at the gates of Heaven with the biggest, brightest smile and a hug welcoming him into heaven where they will spend an eternal life together forever.

We are grateful for the extraordinary family, friends and ""village"" God has given us, and we are overwhelmed by the love and support shown by everyone over the past few days. We know we can count on that support in the future. We have seen God make beauty from ashes and we know He will do it again.

Mom and Dad, thank you for everything. We will miss you always, but we are blessed to be able to see the lasting impact you both had on this world, and everyone around you. We love you to the moon and back.
