Angel Rubio

Angel Rubio 87 passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones and was called home to be with our Lord on November 15th, 2016. She was born in Gill, Colorado on April 29th, 1929 and is preceded in death by her husband Ruperto Rubio, her stepson Hector Rubio, parents Jesus & Ynacia Gonzales and her seven siblings, Isabel Cisneros, Marie Rangel, Cora Herrera, Frances Quinonez, Manual Gonzales, and Willy Gonzales. She is survived by 8 step children Aida Sandoval, Olga Vigil, Oralia Brown, Neptalian Rubio, Ruth Martinez, Cesar Rubio, Leticia Quintanar, and Xavier Rubio, 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and numerous family and friends. While we know that she is at peace now there is sadness because we will miss her. But even though she is gone, she has left the legacy of her love, her faith and perseverance for us to live by. The ways she touched all our lives will remain with us through lasting memories of the life she lived so we can live by her example. Please join the family in paying respects from 11:00am - 12:00pm at Horan & McConaty located at 3020 Federal Boulevard, Denver, CO. 80211. She will be laid to rest at Mt. Olivet Cemetery 12801 W. 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO. 80033. Following the burial you are invited to join the family for a luncheon celebration of Angel's life at the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center 4005 Kipling St, Wheat Ridge, CO. 80033 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
