It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Angelina M. Delgadillo of Arvada, Colorado who departed this world on December 26, 2023 at the age of 67.
Born February 4th, 1956 Angelina lived a life filled with love, happiness, laughter, and unwavering commitment. She embraced the world with a spirit that touched all the lives around her. She was a cherished daughter, sister, friend, partner, and most notably a dedicated mother and grandmother.
In 1972 Angelina met Dave, and their journey together unfolded as they exchanged vows on January 28, 1978. Their love, an intricate tapestry woven with moments of joy and challenges, bore witness to the complexities in life. The path of their shared existence eventually diverged, yet the connection forged through those shared years remained unbroken.
The marriage of Angie and Dave may have concluded, but the bonds of understanding and mutual respect preserved. They held true to the essence of the vows they once exchanged, navigating the “for better or worse” all the way to the end.
Once Angelina became a mother, she discovered her true calling and unwavering happiness. Beyond her own children, she opened her arms to welcome anyone—caring for, cooking for, and showering with love—all of which proudly earned her the title of "The Mom!" Her legacy will endure in the hearts of all those she touched with her kindness, love, and compassion.
Angelina is survived by her lifelong partner, Dave; their son, DJ, and his wife, Laura, along with their two boys, Gavin and Tyler; as well as their daughter, Stephanie, and her two boys, Jayden and Nikolai.
In honoring Angelina's memory, we invite family and friends to join us for a celebration of her life on January 3rd, 2024 at 11am at St. Jude Catholic Church located at 9405 W Florida Ave. Lakewood, CO. 80232. Flowers can be sent to Horan & McConaty located at 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd. Lakewood, CO. 80227.
As we say our goodbyes, may we find solace in the enduring love she gave so freely and the profound impact she had on our lives. Angelina's legacy lives on in the kindness she showed, the love she shared, and the compassion she extended to all. Most importantly, she is finally free from decades of chronic pain and suffering.
May she rest in eternal peace
