Anita Maez

Anita Marie Maez, age 58, passed away peacefully at her home on March 15, 2022.  Born in Leadville, CO, Anita's family quickly moved to the Denver area where she lived an incredible life full of joy and happiness.  Anita raised three sons, Mark, Taylor and Joshua and two wonderful granddaughters - Maliyah and Aviana.  Anita worked in the mortgage industry and operated her own real estate closing and notary business.

Anita's life was dedicated to bringing joy to all those around her and spreading love at every opportunity. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all those she touched, as their lives were made better due to knowing her.  She was a teacher of life lessons and a beacon of light to so many.  Anita is survived by her husband, Ron Matheison, her sons Mark (Misty), Taylor and Joshua, her parents Nancy and Paul, siblings Brenda(Terry) and Paul, two grandchildren Maliyah and Aviana, and niece Savannah.
