Ann Marie Abernethy

October 8, 1958 — April 26, 2013

Ann M. Abernethy, 54, of Denver, Colorado, passed away April 26, 2013 of brain cancer at home with her loved ones. She is survived by her loving husband Mike Todd, two sons Ian and Devin, step-son Spencer, her twin sister Becky Abernethy, nephew Zach, and her niece Chloe. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Jane Abernethy. Ann was born and raised in Casper Wyoming and graduated from Natrona County High School in 1977. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Regis University in Denver, Colorado with a Bachelors in 1981, and a Masters in 1994. Her professional career began at the Denver Chamber of Commerce, included 22 years at the Denver Post as Director of Research and Marketing, and concluded at Email Vision as Director of Client Services. Ann lived life to the fullest through people, travel, music and good wine. Her sense of adventure and fun loving spirit touched so many lives. Ann was actively involved in many charitable organizations, including Good Shepard Catholic School, the Alzheimer's Asso-ciation, and the Women's Bean Project, just to name a few. She was an amazing Mother, and her boys were her world. Ann had a passion for animals, gardening, and for her wonderful friends. Services are Saturday May 4th at 10 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 7th and Elizabeth Street in Denver, with a Celebration of Life immediately following in the Good Shepherd Parish Family Center. We are thankful the community has been so generous and supportive to Ann and her family over the past year.
