Ann Perry Esposito, a native Denverite, died on April 19, 2007, at the age of 101. Mrs. Esposito was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Salvatore P. Esposito, a prominent Denver physician; one brother Daniel Perry; and two sisters, Mary Dace and Adelaide Vox. Mrs. Esposito was educated in the Denver Public Schools and was a graduate of the Barnes School of Commerce and the Chicago School of Nursing. She and Dr. Esposito were married in Denver on June 3, 1935. Prior to their marriage she was employed by the Veteran's Administration but resigned from the VA to work with her husband in his medical practice until their retirement in 1975. Mrs. Esposito had many interests in the medical field. She was a past president of the Arapahoe County Medical Auxiliary; the organizer and first president of the Aurora-Adams County Medical Auxiliary. She was elected President of the Colorado State Medical Auxiliary in 1958-1959 and was an honorary member of these organizations. She served on the Board of the American Medical Association Auxiliary for six years as a Western Region committee chairperson and on the Board of the Mercy Hospital Auxiliary for fifteen years and was a life member. In addition she was a past president and honorary member of the Aurora Women's Club, a charter member of the Aurora Rotary and a life member of the Aurora Historical Society. Surviving Mrs. Esposito are three brothers, Amedeo Perry of Ontario, CA, Edward Perry of Denver and Joseph Perry of Fountain Hill, AZ; and a sister Amelia Simone of Sedona, AZ. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and their families. Visitation at 9:30 AM with Mass of the Resurrection to follow at 10 AM Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with Entombment in Fairmount Mausoleum.
