Anna Brafford

Anna Marie Brafford, (82) resident of Westminster, CO, passed away December 14, 2021. She was born on November 25, 1939 to Sam and Jennie Domenico. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Anna Marie was proceeded in passing by her parents, and her husband Roy Brafford.

Anna Marie is survived by her three sons, Robert Wright of Denver, CO, Richard Wright of Northglenn, CO, and Ronald (Jean) Domenico of Westminster, CO; three grandchildren, Christopher (Tiffany) Wright, Chelsea (Adrian) Casias, and Ashley (Jon) Burke; and eight great grandchildren, Taylor, Karli, Hailey, Eli, Brantley, Lacey, Kiera and Blakely, and many other family members.

Anna Marie loved spending time with her family and friends. She was actively involved in the Catholic Church, Archbishop’s Guild, loved going on road trips with her friends, enjoyed cooking Italian meals, loved her bunco nights, was an avid bowler for approximately 40 years and served as secretary of the league for all those years.  One of Anna Marie’s great achievements was being the first woman CEO of the Boulder Valley Credit Union, which she loved, and participating and organizing her late husband’s army reunions. She was also an active board member at the Fidelis Credit Union until the day she passed. She always lived life to the fullest. Always had places to go and things to see. Life will never be the same without her.

Family services and rosary will be held 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Horan and McConaty; 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, CO 80229

Celebration of life mass will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at St. Marks Catholic Church; 3141 W. 96th Ave. Westminster, CO 80031. Directly following will be a reception at St. Marks Hall.

Internment will be held at 1:00 pm, following the reception, at Mount Olivet Cemetery; 12801 W. 44th Ave., Wheatridge, CO 80033.
