Anne M. Burford of Denver, Colorado. Daughter of Dr. Joseph John McGill and Dorothy O'Grady McGill, died Sunday, July 18, 2004. Anne was born in Casper, Wyoming, April 21, 1942. A graduate of St. Francis de Sales High School in Denver, and at the age of 21, the University of Colorado School of Law where she served on law review. Anne was voted Outstanding Freshman Legislator of the Colorado State House of Representatives. She served on the National Commission on Uniform Sentencing. Anne was the Administrator of the United States Environmental Protection Agency during the Reagan Administration. In recent years, she was in private practice with a concentration on children's advocacy. She is survived by her children Neil (Washington D.C.), Stephanie and J.J. Gorsuch, (both of Denver); five grandchildren. Also by her mother, Dorothy O'Grady McGill, sisters, Mary Edwards, Theresa Peace, Dorothy McGill, Veronica Urban, Rosie Binge and brother, Joe McGill. Preceded in death by her father, Dr. Joseph John McGill. Visitation, Friday, 5:30-7pm with Rosary following at 7pm, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd, Denver, Colorado. Funeral Mass, Saturday 10am, Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 1900 California Street, Denver, Colorado. Interment, Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
