Anne Mueller

Anne Mueller, 91, passed away on July 11, 2015. She was born in Ballyvaughn, County Clare, Ireland to Elizabeth and Martin Mooney. Anne is survived by daughters, Mary Jo Mueller, Madeline Pelton, Maureen Mueller (husband Jon Shramko). Sons, Paul Mueller, (wife Dee Mueller), Kevin Mueller, David Mueller (wife Janet Mueller), Sean Mueller. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul A. L. Mueller. Anne Mueller started life in the west of Ireland. She met her future husband while working in England during World War II. She came over to America as a war bride in May of 1946. She and her husband settled in Denver and had seven children. Anne and Paul were very active parishioners of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Anne was a Committee Chairwoman for the Democratic Party for several years. Among her many interests and talents, were sewing, knitting, gardening, bowling, tennis, golf, swimming, roller skating, ice skating, bicycling, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, dancing, ( ballroom, line, Irish set dancing). In addition, Anne had a wicked sense of humor and a incredible zest for life. Anne was dearly loved and will live on in our hearts forever. We miss you, mum. There will be a Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 pm, Monday, July 20, 2015 at Horan McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO. The Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Parish, 2200 S. Logan St., Denver, CO. Burial will follow at 2:15 pm, at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area ""C"", 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School in Anne's honor at 2256 South Logan Street, Denver, CO. 80210.
