Annette C Janda

Annette C. Janda, 93, Aurora, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at her residence. A native of Council Bluffs, Iowa she was the daughter to the late George Mark Reynolds and Maude Mae Hough. Annette received her business degree from Hastings College and began her career in the banking industry as a loan officer. She retired from Bank Western after 18 years of service. She was a member at Queen of Peace Catholic Church and The Martha’s group there. She enjoyed embroidering and reading. Those who knew Annette, knew that she loved her family and all of the military men and women who proudly serve their country. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Richard “Rick” Janda; a brother, George “Bud” Reynolds; and her sister, Joanne Reynolds, RSCJ. Annette leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Janet Kay Jeffers, Joanne Ruhter and her husband, Kyle, Diane Janda, Mary Lynn Janda-Thompson and her husband, William, and Mark Janda and his wife, Theresa; grandchildren, Tiffany Jenkins, Nathan Ruhter, Toby Janda and Timothy Janda; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Madison, Joseph, and Autzen Janda, Jaxen and Jace Jenkins; brother, Clarke Reynolds; and a sister, Yvonne Reynolds. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial mass to honor the life of Annette C. Janda was held on Monday, June 4th, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave., Aurora, CO. A committal and interment service will be held later at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to: DAV, 8720 E.
