Anthony Ciufo, a long-time resident of Lakewood, CO, passed away on Thursday, January 28th at his assisted living facility in Denver, CO. Anthony was 82 years old and died from complications of Parkinson's Disease. He was the youngest son of Pasquale and Anna Ciufo of Rochester, NY, Italian immigrants who came to the United States through Ellis Island in the 1920's. Anthony served in the US Navy from 1950 to 1954 and participated in the Korean War. He was a realtor for many years and retired from the City and County of Denver where he bought and sold commercial real estate for the city. He is well known for his many years of coaching youth football and baseball in the Denver area. He is survived by his beloved sister Mary Jane Bizari of Webster, NY, and his children Michael Bilinski, Paula Randisi, Chief Master Sergeant (Retired) Daniel Ciufo, Major (Retired) Elizabeth Waters, Dr. Thomas Ciufo, and Angela Ciufo.
