Anthony ""Tony"" Frank Rodriguez 1950-2010 Beloved Father, Brother, Nephew, Uncle, Cousin, Friend On Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 2:45 a.m. Anthony (Tony) Frank Rodriguez, entered into the Kingdom of God joining his parents Isabel & Frank. Tony was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert. Anthony was born on December 13, 1950 in Trinidad, Colorado where he spent the early part of his life, graduating from Trinidad High School in 1969 and Trinidad State Junior College in 1971. Shortly thereafter he married Robin Kuehne and they moved to Denver where Tony entered into a lifelong career as a drafting engineer/CADD operator. Tony will be remembered for his unique personality devised of his calm demeanor, kindness, affection & respect for family & friends. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors particularly the mountains, lakes, and all of God's creatures. He loved bicycling, fishing, camping, country western dancing & music, & the movies. He devoted his life to raising his 16 year old daughter, Andreah, whom he loved unconditionally. Surviving Anthony are his siblings, Carol (Delbert) Romero, (Lakewood, CO); Catherine Zinger (L.I., New York); Douglas (Miriam) Rodriguez, (Topeka, Kansas); Donald Rodriguez, (Aurora, CO); Elizabeth (Rocky) Nunley (Aurora, CO); & Bryan (Stephanie) Rodriguez, (Denver, CO). Also surviving are his uncle Joe Santillanez, (Trinidad) & numerous cousins. Active Pallbearers are Douglas Rodriguez, Donald Rodriguez, Bryan Rodriguez, Delbert Romero, Rocky Nunley, & Jack Edvabsky. Honorary Pallbearers are Tony's nieces, nephews: Carl (Melody) Romero, Kevin (Beth) Romero, Barry Zinger, Bryan (Theresa) Zinger, Amber & Courtney Nunley, Andrew & Robert Rodriguez, Hannah & Kameron Rodriguez & his great nieces & nephews Katelyn & Kendra Romero, Colton, Paige, & Lauren Romero, Haleigh Nunley, and Kyle ""Anthony"" Zinger who proudly bears his brave great uncle's name. At this time Tony's family wishes to express their sincere thanks to all whom have been extremely supportive during Tony's long term illness especially the staff at Timberline Elementary, Cherry Creek School District, Sandy VonFeldt, the doctors and nursing staff at St. Anthony's Central Hospital, Chaplains Marianne Panke & Brad Beall, Fr. Dan of St. Anthony of Padua, Shannon Stockman who sang & played guitar for him, as well as the staff at Horan & McConaty Funeral Service.
