Anthony H. Veto

On Sunday, November 12, 2023, Anthony Henry Veto passed away at the age of 76. Tony was born on February 22, 1947 to Henry and Carmen Veto in Denver, Colorado.

Tony grew up in Denver, Colorado graduating from Regis Jesuit High School in 1965 . He attended Arizona State University, in Tempe, AZ and graduated in 1969. While there Tony was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and still has close friendships with many brothers. Tony graduated from the University of Denver with his Juris Doctorate in 1971. Tony and Barb met and started dating in 1966 and married in Denver, Colorado on June 5, 1971. Tony is survived by his wife Barbara Veto of 52 years, his four daughters Tracy Veto (Julie), Tina Veto Kasischke (Joe), Wendy Veto Garvin (Jason), and Kristi Veto Crary (Mitchell) and seven grandchildren.

Tony was a criminal defense attorney in Denver, Colorado practicing for 50 years. He was an avid golfer which led to many golf trip adventures and many championships. He joined Lakewood Country Club in 1971 and enjoyed long lasting friendships. His love for the game of golf was unprecedented and brought him much joy. He loved spending time with his family and the beautiful mountains of Colorado.

A memorial service will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Friday, November 17th, 2023 at 11:30 a.m.. A reception will be held at Lakewood Country Club immediately following at 1:00 p.m..
