Anthony Globelnik, Age 84, died in his home in Englewood on January 9, 2022. Tony met his wife Carol in Cleveland Ohio and moved his family to colorful Colorado as he fell in love with the state while going through basic training at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs. He was a veteran of the Korean War and worked 30 years with Lockhead Martin, finishing his career in 2000.
Tony loved being with nature and particularly enjoyed camping, hiking (hiked numerous 12K mountains) and fishing. He was the Denver Broncos biggest fan and enjoyed his Sunday afternoons either in aggravation or elaborations.
Tony is survived by his wife, Carol, their daughters, Nicki Lizarraga husband Gil, Kathy Mortensen husband Mike, Sons, Tony Globelnik his wife Chrys, Tom Globelnik and wife Sue, Grandchildren, Jacqueline, Amber, Kayla, Evan, Ryan, Andrew, Megan, Taylor and Lexi. Great Grandchild Ainsley Martinez.
Funeral Services will take place at St Francis Cabrini Church on Monday, January 31st at 10:30 a.m. Reception will follow services in the church basement. Military honors burial at Fort Logan cemetery will follow the reception.
