Antonio de Miguel Sanchez

Antonio de Miguel Sanchez (Captain, U.S. Army), 40 years of age, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on July 4, 2012. To my beloved husband, Time came by in a hurry and once again we have to see you depart. I have to thank God for all of the years that we were together and that our children enjoyed their time with you. What you taught them will carry on with them for the rest of their lives. Our Lord's arms will embrace you and may you rest in peace. You also take with you all of our love. Proud to be your wife and mother to your children. We will miss you, Betty, Alejandro and Cesar. To our beloved son and brother, Antonio lived life to the fullest--anything he wanted to do, he did, and always with style, humor and lots of charisma. He was such an adventurer and always did everything on his terms. SUPER SANCHEZ, as he liked to be called, is now watching over us, so let us not mourn his death but celebrate his life since we all have such wonderful memories of him. He will live in our hearts forever! Other than his two boys, nothing made him happier than being a Captain in the U.S. Army-Colorado National Guard. He was honored to serve his country and proud to be a great mentor to so many soldiers. Words just cannot express how greatly he will be missed! Antonio is also survived by his parents, Nelida and Miguel Sanchez, sisters Karen, Denise, Ingrid, Vilma, Kathy, his brother Edward, and loving extended family and countless friends. A Funeral Mass for Antonio will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at St. Cajetan Catholic Church, 299 South Raleigh Street, Denver, Colorado. A Committal Service will occur at 10:15am on Monday, July 16, 2012 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado.
