April Leetta Wymer was born in Denver, Colorado February 25, 1962, to Laura Perego and George Wymer II and passed away March 26, 2023, in Aurora, Colorado, surrounded by her Husband of 32 years, Michael Sims, her 3 children, their spouses and grandchildren, and many loved ones.
She was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and close friend to many. April found pleasure and fulfillment in caring for others especially those that were seniors that had no family to help, spending time with her children and grandchildren around a campfire with a beer and hanging out with her Best Friends and extended family. Her hobbies included Camping in various places, but her favorites were Red Feather Lakes and Utah. She had a love of the game Farkle and Word Searches. She also adored her many dogs and cats in life with her most recent pets being her 2 mini chihuahuas named Ralphie and Lily.
Survivors include her husband Michael Sims, 3 Children, Daughter Jessica and Matthew Baca, grandchildren Samantha Burke and Matthew C. Baca; Daughter Samantha and Ken Cooper, grandchildren Benjamin Lemaster IV and Alexis Cooper, Great Grandson Colt LeMaster, and Son Merrill and Susie Urdahl, grandchildren Joshua Urdahl and Justin Urdahl, along with 2 bonus daughters, daughter Amy and Gus Passero and grandchildren Sierra and Martin Jacob, Kristavia and Trace Strotheide, Kiya Passero and Great Grandson Cal Strotheide, daughter Sadie and Matthew Goering, grandchildren Cassidy Goering and Miles Goering. Mother Sandra Wymer, Sister Beulah Curran, Brothers Henry Zimmerman and Ronald Zimmerman, and many nieces and nephews and lots of additional family and loved ones.
She is proceeded in death by her Father George Wymer II, Mother Laura Perego, Sister Sandra Sorg, Brother George Raymond Wymer III, Bonus Son Christopher Sims, and Granddaughter Abigail Urdahl.
Following the loss of her Bonus son Christopher Sims, she was baptized as a Christian and had a relationship with God.
She was very loved and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. We will be having a Memorial on Saturday April 1st, 2023, at 2pm with details to follow.
