Archie Calvaresi, Sr.

Archie Calvaresi, Sr., 98, born in Abruzzi, Italy September 13, 1911. Preceded in death by his wife Virginia (DiClementi) Calvaresi and daughter Charlene Calvaresi Hofer. He is survived by his daughter Virginia (Joe) Stone; son, Archie (Stephanie) Calvaresi. Also survived by sisters, Clara Goudette and Angie (Tony) Ficco; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Archie was a founding member and served several years on the SW Adams County Fire Department. He belonged to many boards and organizations. Archie farmed until age 60, then developed his property into Aloha Beach, a swimming, fishing and boating facility. After retiring, Virginia and Archie embarked on becoming tourists and traveled to many parts of the world. In 2002 they moved to Brighton, CO.
