Ardith ""Ardie"" Race

On Tuesday, April 21, Ardith (Ardie) Race, loving wife and mother, passed away at age 73.

Ardie was born on November 15, 1946 in Blair, Nebraska. She was raised in Kansas and Colorado by her parents Bill and Sarah Latchford. Graduated from Englewood High School, Englewood, CO. She married Harry Race on April 23, 1965. Her passing was only 2 days shy of a 55 year marriage.

Ardie enjoyed sewing, was an excellent homemaker and decorator. Ardie has a passion for jewelry, loved to go fishing, loved reading books, playing board games with her family and enjoyed being with her friends.

Ardie was preceded in death by her mother Sarah. She is survived by her father Bill, husband Harry, two daughters, Denise and Diane and six grandchildren. Her last wishes were to be cremated and her ashes placed in her husband's coffin when he passes away. She requested no celebration of her life held.
