Arnold H. ""Bud"" Jennings

JENNINGS, ARNOLD H. ""BUD"" APRIL 26, 1924 - APRIL 12, 2016 Arnold H. ""Bud"" Jennings passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on April 12th. Bud was born April 26, 1924 in Iowa City, Iowa to Harvey and Mildred Thomann. He grew up in the area and was proud of his upbringing as an ""Iowa farm boy"". He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. during WWII in the Pacific Theater. After an honorable discharge from military service, he attended the University of Iowa where he graduated in 1951 with a Master's degree in geology. He worked for Chevron for 30 years and continued as a geologic consultant well into his 70s. Bud was preceded in death by the love of his life, wife Dora, and is survived by his children Jeff (Barb), Mike (Elizabeth), and Michelle; grandchildren Charlotte (Bill), Natalie, Michelle, Collette (Nathan); and great grandchild Michelle. Memorial Service Monday, May 16, 2016, 11:00 AM, Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80227. Interment Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 12:30 PM.
