Arthur Lee Hain, age 78, passed away at his home in Broomfield, Co. on January 12, 2022.
Art was born on July 23, 1943 to Arthur Hain and Betty Strong. The family spent some of Art’s early years in Kansas, but they returned to Denver when he was diagnosed with Asthma and they thought the Colorado climate would be better for him. Art and his family moved to Broomfield in 1956 and remained life long residents. He graduated from Louisville High School in Louisville, Colorado.
Art met his wife Sharon Close in 1965, and after his return from service in the US Army, they were married in 1968 and spent the next 53 years raising their family in Broomfield.
Art worked for ARCO Coal, and Holland & Hart as the copy center manager. After retiring in 2001, he decided to join his daughter Shelby in her dog grooming business, The Groom Closet, for the next 15 years.
Art enjoyed several hobbies, including, teaching ceramic classes and traveling, but most of all his greatest pleasure came from his family, especially being “Pa” to his 3 grandsons.
Art was a caring, loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon, daughters Stacey Reichert (Chris), Shelby Hain, grandsons Brady, Caden and Grayson Reichert, brother Rick Hain, and sister Tammy Wittkop (Jeff).
Services are being held January 28, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Horan and McConaty in Thornton, Co
