Arthur T. Weiss, Sr., Lt. Col., USAF (Ret), passed away December 30, 2011. Born to Louis and Grace Weiss on July 30, 1917 in Scranton Pennsylvania. Survived by sons Arthur T. Weiss, Jr., Jeffery (Diane) Weiss, Louis (Glenda) Weiss and Andrew K. Weiss; grandchildren Josh (Helen) Weiss, Mark (Taryn) Weiss, Andrea Weiss, Michelle (Robert) Ihlefeldt and Stephanie (Adam) Clendenen; great grandchildren Rachael Weiss, Adeline Weiss, Makayla Ihlefeldt, Kaitlynn Ihlefeldt, Zachary Ihlefeldt, Madison Ihlefeldt and Tristan Clendenen. Arthur was preceded in death by his wife, Rita (Cowette) Weiss. A Memorial Service for Arthur will take place on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 10:00 in the morning at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., in Lakewood with committal following at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 11:30 AM, Staging Area B. in Denver.
